The color of the eyes here is yellow which is the first tip for me that this bird is not pure Red. All reds should have a pearl-reddish eye color. The beak is narrow and the head is small unlike those of the Reds. The flights and tail are diluted. This bird is a mix between a Red and a yellow Rehani (Mawardy or Asfar Waraka). |
This bird has bull eyes. The almost homogeneous yellow color is likely inherited from a sakarota Bolk, Wardy Bolk, Reds and or Yellow Rehani. The head size, high station and eye color tips me toward a Recessive Red and a Sakarota.. |
This bird has bull eyes. This male bird has as one of his parents. It shows a higher station and faded color that typically surface upon mixing. Because of the head shape and the color, I would think that beside the Bolk, there is likely a red in here as well. |
